Hi Joan, thank you! I’ll have a couple opportunities to order signed books this summer. When the book comes out, I will be HAPPY to mail out signed book plates, which are little labels you can stick inside your copy on one of the opening pages. 🙂

Hi, Sally. I really love the Raspberry Almond Crumb Cake. I make it every week. But in reading the recipe over again on your website I realized I had the incorrect crumb mix written down and cannot imagine where it came from. I had 2/3 cup packed brown sugar, 3/4 cup flour, 2-1/2 tspns. cinnamon & 6 Tblspns. cubed butter. It worked okay but after reading your recipe again, I realized that your crumb mix was more “delicate”. I cannot imagine where I picked up this recipe-do you recognize it? I am going to make this crumb cake with the correct crumb mix recipe as soon as I get off of this note and thank you for all of your beautiful recipes and success tips (which I love the most) to help your devotees create baked perfection. Love you, Linda Shea

Hi Sally! I bought a trifle bowl last fall and have been wanting to use it for spring/summer desserts. Your lemon berry trifle looks luscious & am looking forward to making it sometime in the future, but right now I have no lemons or fresh berries. Due to quarantine, I don’t feel like running out just to get them. Do you have any other suggestions on any other trifle I can make for Mother’s Day tomorrow? TIA & hope your Mother’s Day finds you & your family happy & healthy!

Happy Mother’s Day to you all…My Mom has passed and I miss her so much every single day. I grew up in the 1950’s and she had dinner on the table every day at 5pm when we all sat at the kitchen table and ate together. My daddy always wanted something sweet after dinner so she always had a cake or pie for us. One of my favorites was her Pineapple Upside Down CAke that she made in her cast iron skillet. If your mother is still with you, appreciate the time you have with her and when you can hug her…DO IT!!! Blessings…

I started making my own mother’s day brunch when I had my children. Mother’s day was one of those restaurant days where the crowds and wait times were large and long, and my kids were antsy…so, I started a new tradition that I actually enjoyed much more. We didn’t have to go out, the food was great, and the atmosphere much more relaxing. I have a favorite menu that I may switch up this year since everything else is different. My kids have long since grown up and moved away, but I continued my celebration at home. Thank you for all your wonderful choices and the most difficult will be deciding on which ones to make. Thank you for your wonderful recipes and blog, and congratulations for your new little one on the way and for your sweet little girl you already have. I wish you a most enjoyable and yummy mother’s day and stay well.
